Sales fall sharply for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (NYSE:FCAU) in October after a weak month for Chrysler. Two fewer selling days in October also impacted the comparison.
Brand sales growth: Fiat -24% to 2,622; Chrysler -45% to 14,181; Jeep -7% to 68,826; Dodge -16% to 41,514; Ram +12% to 49,443; Alfa Romeo 23.
Notable model sales: Wrangler -7% to 14,469 units; Renegade -9% to 7,242 units; Ram P/U +7% to 43,891 units; ProMaster Van +92% to 4,500; Durango -9% to 4,651 units; Dodge Caravan -15% to 11,563 units; Dart -63% to 2,407 units.
The automaker says retail sales were 77% of the total for the month.
FCA's average transaction price was up 1.6% Y/Y to $33,479.
